Rail Enterprise Group’s (REG) railroads can provide forward inventory positioning and storage-in-transit for rail cars loaded with a wide range of non-hazardous materials: plastics, agricultural products, salt, frac sand, fertilizers, aggregates, and more. With REG’s strategically located railroads, personalized services, and extensive infrastructure, you can be assured that your critical raw materials will always be within easy reach - even during peak demand periods. Combined, our railroads offer over 8,000 car spots capable of providing long-term or short-term loaded storage-in-transit of individual cars, blocks of cars, and even unit trains.

Our railroads provide efficient access to major cross-country shipping lanes (Class 1 rail lines, major interstate highways, and inland / coastal ports) for timely delivery to destinations anywhere in the eastern half of the United States. All of REG’s railroads are capable of handling shipments with gross weights up to 286,000lbs. Our facilities also support each other – Milan, TN and Middletown, IA provide storage for customers with operations in Raritan Center, NJ and Chambersburg, PA.

REG has a responsive team of professionals to assist with the coordination of rail deliveries, car storage, and railcar repair. Our crews are on duty daily to ensure prompt switching of rail cars. Three of our railroads also offer AAR-certified car repair facilities on-site – providing maintenance, repair, cleaning, and more. REG and its 3PL partners can also offer just-in-time bulk transloading services for cars stored on our railroads for those instances where product may be needed quickly.
