The Raritan Central Railway is pleased to offer steel and metals reloading services from our reload facility off Meadow Road in Edison, New Jersey. Our partner Yannuzzi Materials operates the facility. It is adjacent to their 13-acre operation. They handle everything from steel (rebar, plate, coils, I-beams), scrap metal, bulk aggregates, to construction and landscaping waste recycling. Currently, the facility is receiving rebar and shipping scrap metal utilizing the same railcars for both the inbound and outbound shipments. Yannuzzi’s on-site heavy equipment can easily handle large, heavy shipments. Raritan Central serves the facility five days/week and can offer high-volume throughput with multiple switches per day if needed.
